These are called ‘keeping in touch days’. Any work you do should use a keeping in touch day - including going to training or meetings. You should be paid for keeping in touch days. WebThe Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a law that requires most companies to allow their employees up to 12 weeks of unpaid family leave time after the birth of their child. The FMLA applies to both men and women and is also available for those that adopt a child.
