Do church bells ring at funerals

WebOn weekdays, there's mass every day at 4 pm, usually (but not always), the bells ring 10 minutes before it starts. This weekend was a bit louder than usual though (because of Epiphany or 'Drie Koningen', on holidays we ring 3 bells instead of 1) and we also had an extra mass at 5 pm Sunday evening.
