WebDec 16, 2024 · So a fellow member wanted me to start a new thread to share some info about one of my semi-custom guns. So I will list the specs, through up a picture and give a mini-review of it. The base gun is a Dan Wesson Discretion 1911 45ACP. This is their model with slide cuts, threaded barrel and raised suppressor sights. WebJun 5, 2024 · In Dan Wesson manual it seems to state to have the slide back some before removing the bushing. Gotcha. I've always removed the bushing after taking off the slide. I also don't rotate it at full lock up.

Never handled or shot a STI but have heard nothing but good things about the pistols.
