Closing an unwanted hydraulic line
WebApr 11, 2024 · Find the coolant return line under the spindle. If chips block the coolant return line, coolant floods into the hydraulic union and will contaminate the HPU oil and cause it to foam. It can also cause the tank to overfill. Unclogg the coolant return line. Drain the HPU and blow shop air through the hoses. Clean or replace all HPU filters. WebDec 18, 2004 · Tom, the proper way to do this is with a valve that has flow control one way and full flow the other way like this valve flow valve . If you need control both directions you will need two valves. The valves need to be installed not as you would expect. Install it restricting the return side of the cylinder not the pressure side.

The hydraulic impulse levers used to operate the valves during an … WebWhen there is a problem in a hydraulic system, usually the first course of action is to turn up the pressure. Thirdly, the crossport relief valves should be located as close as possible to the hydraulic motor. A plywood plant in North Carolina was having a problem shearing the motor shaft off its rotary log-kicker hydraulic motor.
WebJan 18, 2007 · In hydraulic motor circuits, relief valves can eliminate shock when the motor must be decelerated quickly. In this function, fluid is ported from the high-pressure outlet port of the motor to the low-pressure inlet port, while holding ample backpressure to stop the motor without damage. Fig. 9-11. Symbols for modular relief valves.
